JACKSON, Miss. – Volunteers with Entergy Mississippi, Inc. and the Mississippi Food Network are teaming up to pack and distribute some 26,000 energy-efficient lightbulbs to 85 food pantries throughout Mississippi.
The bulbs will be packaged in food boxes destined for low-income families served by Entergy and delivered on-site to representatives from all 85 pantries. 26,000 bulbs are enough to light approximately 6,400 homes. The donation, through the Entergy Solutions program, is the start of a new partnership with MFN.
