The suspect in an Edwards double homicide is now in custody.
20-year-old Justin Mosley was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Wednesday morning and faces Capital Murder and Murder charges in connection with a shooting that occurred at the Brandon Arms Apartment complex on Sunday.
According to the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a 911 call from a child in regards to the shooting. Upon arrival, officers found 57-year-old Michael Anthony Lawson & 27-year-old Djuana Robinson dead from gunshot wounds.
Mosley is accused of shooting Lawson outside of one of the apartment buildings. He then allegedly kicked in the door of Robinson’s apartment and shot her.
While no motive is known at this time, authorities say that the suspect knew at least one of the victims.
Robinson’s three children – a six-year-old & two toddlers – were home at the time of the shooting but none were injured.
