JACKSON, Miss. — You usually hear about earthquakes in California, but this year they are just as bad in Oklahoma, and geologist are worried that a big one may hit soon. As for Mississippi, there have has not been a particularly strong earthquake in about 200 years according to State Geologist Mike Bograd. He says in 2013 Mississippi had one earthquake and in 2012 there were three, but none of those made much of an impact.
