Jackson police are investigating the city’s 38th homicide of the year after the death of a 21-year-old man was reported.
In the early morning hours of Monday August 21, police were called to the scene of a stalled vehicle in the lane of traffic near Watkins Drive an I-220 South.
When they arrived they found 21-year-old Malik McIntee with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead. Officers said he was the only one in the gray Nissan Altima that had sustained heavy damage due to gunfire.
