KENTUCKY – Campaign money donated by former Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour is causing a big commotion during a battle for Senate in Kentucky.
Kentucky Democrats are lambasting Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for accepting $2,500 in donations from Barbour. They say Barbour let sex offenders and murders back on the streets and they want McConnell to return the money. Barbour caused a stir back in 2012 when he pardoned 208 convicts.
