A drug bust at a D’Iberville home last week has led to a major seizure for law enforcement and the arrest of two suspects.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office Task Force executed a search warrant on April 18 on the residence of Kavon Pridgen and Lakendra Evans. An investigation led authorities to suspect the house was being used in drug trafficking activity.

Pridgen was taken into custody at the scene and charged with multiple counts of aggravated trafficking of a controlled substance. He had bond set at $1,250,000. Evans was also arrested at the scene and charged with multiple counts of aggravated trafficking of a controlled substance. She was given a bond of $1,000,000.

Sheriff’s deputies, along with officers from the D’Iberville Police Department, seized the following from the home upon executing the search warrant:
- More than one pound of fentanyl
- More than one pound of methamphetamine
- More than one pound of cocaine
- Around 2,000 MDMA (ecstasy) pills
- 10 firearms
- Around $15,000 in cash
