Officials are investigating after an inmate was found hanging in his cell on Sunday.
According to Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones, Terrence Merriweather, 30, was discovered at 3:35 p.m. No foul play is suspected in the Memphis native’s death at this time.
Death Investigation: Raymond Detention Center-Terence Merriweather-30, of Memphis, TN, was found hanging in his cell at 3:35pm. Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is conducting the investigation. Foul play is not suspected.
