Agriculture is the number 1 industry in Mississippi, and it is finding it’s way into the classrooms in unique ways. Todd Willis is a 3rd grade teacher at Pleasant Hill Elementary in Olive Branch, Mississippi interweaving horticulture and agriculture into every learning lessons.
Todd’s agriculture based elementary curriculum is part of an exchange of ideas with like-minded teachers from other parts of Mississippi, the United States and their counterparts in Japan. Yes, Japan!
