The Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services is facing tough times. From a foster care crisis, an overflow of caseloads, to a case of failure to investigate abuse claims in Natchez that resulted in the death of a child, MDCPS has been under fire lately.
Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services Communication Director Lea Anne Brandon joined the Gallo Show to talk about how Child Protection Services serves the state, what they’re doing to improve the lives of children and how they are working to fix problems with the foster care system and other issues.
