YAZOO CITY, Miss.–It was a deadly wreck near Yazoo City Saturday as a truck crashed into a creek. Deputies and the Highway Patrol were looking into whether or not the weather may have had something to do with it.
The Highway Patrol said Charles Shipp, 46, was headed north on Hwy. 149, when he lost control, went off the road and hit a bridge. He died at the scene of the wreck.
That happened at about 10:45 a.m. Saturday.
The Highway Patrol is still looking into it.
