The Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) in conjunction with local, state, and federal law enforcement is continuing to search for 31-year-old Jonathan Blankenship and 28-year-old Christopher Benson High.
The inmates escaped early Friday morning from the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Rankin County dressed in white tops and red and white striped pants.
“Tips received are being investigated,” Commissioner Pelicia E. Hall. “Citizens should report anything out of the ordinary no matter how minor it is. The smallest detail could be significant in situations like this.”
