The Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension, known as DASH, has shown it’s ability to lower high blood pressure and bad cholesterol as much as some medications, but it can also reduce depression, according to a study done at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
Registered dietitian (and host of Good Things), Rebecca Turner discussed the significance of the DASH Diet and the potential for it to also help fight depression.
