STARKVILLE, Miss.- Mississippi State University fans are getting ready for the biggest pep rally of the year, Cowbell Yell.
It’s happening on Thursday night at the football stadium. The gates will open at 8:00 pm and the pep rally kicks off at 9:00 pm. The first 1,000 students to show up will receive a free t-shirt. Guests will hear from former football players like John Bond and Cameron Lawrence. Members of the Famous Maroon Band, MSU Spirit Groups, Bulldog Football coaching staff, as well as Bully mascot Jak, will be there as well.
Guests will line up with their cowbells outside Gate F at the northwest corner of Davis Wade Stadium. The debut of the teams newest intro video will be released, as well as a look into how the cowbell became a Mississippi State tradition.
