JACKSON, Miss.–Mississippi is in for some cooler, wetter weather this week. Compared to last week’s extreme upper 90s, with 105 plus degree heat indices, this week’s low 90s and upper 80s may seem like a fall day.
You can expect at least a 50 percent rain chance anywhere you go in the state today. A weather system is bringing moisture and instability that is expected to bring rain chances through Thursday. By Wednesday afternoon temps across the entire state could be in the upper 80s.
For Monday and Tuesday look for upper 80s north, with 93 central and south.
