JACKSON, Miss.–This weekend’s temps will be just a little cooler and it may seem like the very hot and humid weather pattern is breaking, just a bit.
This afternoon everybody gets a 30 percent chance of afternoon scattered thunderstorms, with a high in the low to mid 90s. So, one more day of that before a break in the humidity.
Saturday, high will be in the upper 80s south and central, but north will see a high near the 80 degree mark, some of the coolest temps in months.
Sunday will mark a return to the low 90s, but temps are expected to fall again by next week.
