Authorities are looking into the death of a man who fell from the roof of Crystal Springs Middle School.
According to the Copiah County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred Friday evening after students had gone home for the day. Once authorities made their way to the scene, they saw the unidentified man lying on the floor of the educational facility.
The victim was reportedly working alongside a group of contractors making repairs to the roof when things went awry.
School officials confirmed that Christmas break had commenced before the man fell to his death.
