Popular comedian and podcaster Theo Von is making a stop in Mississippi’s capital city on his Return of the Rat tour.
Those living in central Mississippi will have the opportunity to witness the comedy icon live at Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson on Wednesday, March 27.
Von, who has nearly three million subscribers to his YouTube channel, has had some of the most trending figures in pop culture, sports, and even politics on his show, This Past Weekend with Theo Von, and has even performed a Netflix comedy special called Regular People which was filmed at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
In his words, the comedian grew up in the “stray animal belt” of southern Louisiana and has steadily elevated up the popularity ranks after numerous television appearances and standup ventures over the past 20 years.
Von is known for his blue-collar sense of humor in which he reminisces about his upbringing and recounts stories from his past with a unique twist to his cadence.
