The Columbus Police Department is searching for an 18-year-old accused of killing a 16-year-old.
A be on the lookout alert, or BOLO, was issued for LaRon Baity in connection with a fatal shooting in September that took the life of Marquez Carter, Jr. While Carter died at the time of the crime, another teenager was also injured during the shooting.
Through a months-long investigation, officers determined Baity and 19-year-old Jakody Moore drove by a house and opened fire. Moore was arrested days after the incident happened.
