Officials have released that no bomb was found after a threat was made at a local Jewish place of worship in the Golden Triangle.
Columbus Police Chief Joseph Daughtry confirmed that a bomb threat had been reported at Temple B’nai Israel on 2nd Avenue on Thursday around 9:18 a.m.
Law enforcement gave the all-clear at 11:30 a.m. after confirming that no bomb was discovered in the area.
Other locations across the state also received bomb threats around the same time on Thursday morning, including the Tupelo Regional Airport, Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport, and Stennis International Airport.
Operations at three airports have returned to normal following security searches. It has not been confirmed if any of the threats are related.
