JACKSON, Miss.–Mississippi was spoiled last week with some outstanding spring-like weather. But that all came to an end with a cold front Sunday that dropped temperatures as it brought rain and storms to the Magnolia State.
The rain and storms are gone, and you can expect a nice, sunny day. But, highs will be in the upper 30s north, lower 40s central and will barely hit 50 south.
You’ll need a jacket.
It’ll warm back into the 50s for Tuesday. But, by Wednesday expect rain. There’s at least a 20 to 30 percent rain chance, starting Tuesday night south and building north.
Wednesday night, there’s a small chance for snow flurries in the north part of the state, with lows getting down near the freezing mark. That small chance carries on over into Thursday morning.
