Casinos on the Mississippi Gulf Coast will reopen their doors this afternoon.
After initially ordering them to close in preparation for Hurricane Sally, the Mississippi Gaming Commission has given coast casinos the go-ahead to reopen this afternoon at 1 p.m.
According to Allen Godfrey of the Gaming Commission, casinos on the coast will be allowed to reopen at 1pm. @supertalk @News_MS @MSStatewatch

Hurricane Sally made landfall near Gulf Shores early this morning as a Category 2 strom. Initial projections had Sally barreling toward the Mississippi Gulf Coast, but it continued to shift east as it made its way through the Gulf of Mexico.
