BILOXI, Miss.- Police arrested Hung Dung Nguyen after he was found standing near the burning front door of a local church.
Firefighters arrived around 9:25 a.m. at the front of Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church to find the burning front door. They reported that only the doors were damaged by the flames.
Police then arrested Nguyen, who was standing nearby when the incident took place, on arson charges. However, so far, they do not have a solid motive for him to have set the blaze.
There is no confirmation that Nguyen is even a member of the churches congregation.
He is behind bars at the Harrison County jail on a $50,000 bond.
