WALNUT GROVE, Miss.–If you had spent the last 11 weeks on setting up big decorations for your town and somebody came along and wrecked it for you, you’d probably be pretty mad. That happened in Walnut Grove this weekend and now the group that put up the decorations has raised $500 for a reward to find out who did it.
News Mississippi affiliate 98.3 The Groove reported the vandals hit overnight Friday into Saturday morning.
The South of the River Committee had put together decor at the library, the local town triangle and a lighted tree at the town hall. The scrooges damaged all three.
