MADISON, Miss.–“Christmas on Ice” opens up again this weekend in Madison to give Mississippians a chance to test their skills at ice skating.
The rink opens up Saturday and this year will be over 14,000 square feet, which is double the size that it was last year.
Last year alone the event saw 100,000 people step into the circle to skate.
The cost is $15 per person and this year organizers have added a 15 foot high and 125 foot long ice slide for patrons to slide down.
Each night 50 pieces of synchronized lighting decorations will perform to music and there is a concert to enjoy also.
