JACKSON, Miss. – They’re asking for respectful treatment during childbirth.
Women in Gulfport gathered Monday to rally against abuse and disrespect during childbirth. Their goal is to raise awareness regarding the options woman have when it comes to child delivery. Birth Rally Coordinator Lindsay Seals Spoke with WLOX and says, “Nine out of ten women are receiving care that increases rather than decreases harm to them when they’re in labor.”
