Ridgeland Police say that a child has been shot at the Arbors at the Reservoir apartment complex in Ridgeland.
The 12-year-old boy was shot in the cheek accidentally by a 16 year old boy. The injury is not life threatening.
Lt. Tony Willridge tells News Mississippi that the victim was responsive and cooperative to questioning and that at this point, officers are trying to determine where the gun came from.
