PEARL, Miss. – A chicken thief on the loose and police need your help finding the culprit. Someone has been stealing chickens from Charles Jones’ free-range coop in Pearl.
Jones has noticed his flock thinning out over the past twelve months. He put up cameras around the property to make sure it wasn’t an animal getting the chickens and that’s when he saw the thief, a man, caught stealing the chickens red handed.
Jones took the photos of the thief to the police and says he believes at least 150 chickens have been stolen.
Jones told WAPT, after 50 chickens vanished in one night, he became fed up and installed cameras on his property.
