LEAKE COUNTY, Miss.–A doctor that saw hundreds of patients in central Mississippi was killed in a wreck near the Natchez Trace Parkway in Leake County Tuesday. Dr. Perry Lishman died when his Hummer rolled several times.
Breezynews.com reported that Lishman, of Kosciusko, was ejected when the Hummer flipped on Hwy. 429. He was traveling with his wife and two children, who were not seriously hurt. Lishman may have had a medical problem that caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
Lishman, 57, practiced Medicine in Kosciusko for many years. The accident remains under investigation.
