JACKSON, Miss. –You must have health insurance under Obama Care, but that may be easier said than done for about 4 out of 10 people here in Mississippi who are under 65 years-old.
A new study by the Kaiser Family Foundation says they fall in what’s called an insurance “coverage gap.” They make to much to qualify for Medicaid, but not enough to get government subsidies that would lower their cost of buying private health insurance. “Most of these people have very limited coverage options and are likely to remain uninsured,” the study said.
