JACKSON, Miss. – A message from the Mississippi Attorney General’s office warns parents and teens to watch what you post on the internet. Over the past few years there has been a trend of teens posting sexually explicit pictures of minors via social media and texting. It can be the result of cyberbullying, but sometimes teens are actually posting pictures of themselves.
Remember if you are doing this kind of cyberbullying or you are “sexting” and are a minor, you need to stop because that it is illegal and can fall in the realm of child pornography. The Attorney General’s office says you know someone who is being harassed you should report it.
