BROOKHAVEN, Miss.–A wreck in Brookhaven killed four teens Friday night. It happened when the car tried to cross Hwy. 84 when a truck was coming. The wreck also landed several people in the hospital with some serious injuries.
Police said it happened about 11 p.m. where Watts Lane crosses 84. The truck hit the right side of the car, killing Faith White, who was 16, Kylee McCord, 17, Curtis Gunnel, 17 and Nicholas King 19. All were from Bogue Chitto.
Dustin Hall was driving the car. He’s 17 and was taken to UMMC. His injuries were serious. Two more passengers in the car were also hurt and were taken to local hospitals.
There were at least three people in the truck and they were taken to the hospital with injuries, some serious.
The Highway Patrol is looking into the wreck.
