Christmas season is rapidly approaching and the Canadian Pacific Holiday Express will be making three stops in Mississippi as part of its 25th anniversary.
CPKC Holiday Train tours serve to raise money, food, and awareness for the work that food banks do in their communities. Professional musicians play free concerts from the brightly decorated train’s stage. CPKC makes a donation to the local food shelf at each stop and encourages attendees to also donate.
The train’s route will include a stop in Pearl on Saturday, November 25, before rolling into Meridian the following day and rounding out its Magnolia State tour in Vicksburg on Monday, November 27.
Since its inception in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $22.5 million and donated more than five million pounds of food to community food banks across North America.
