JACKSON, Miss.–It was the second arrest for Tracey Lynn Garner when he was picked up at his house Monday. That happened after a second buttocks injection death indictment was handed down by a grand jury in the death of an Alabama woman.
Already on house arrest for the death of Karima Gordon of Atlanta, Garner, a transgender person formerly known as Morris Garner, is now suspected in the death of Marilyn Hale of Selma in January 2010. That death happened in much the same manner as Gordon’s.Atty. Gen. Jim Hood said Garner injected a foreign substance into the rear of the victim in a counterfeit enhancement surgery. Hale later died.
Garner is charged with depraved heart murder.
“Our intellectual property task force is involved in these cases to investigate the possibility that the substances injected into the victims were a counterfeit version of silicone,” said Hood.
Hood encouraged anyone who may have received a buttocks or breast augmentation from Garner to notify the AG’s Consumer Protection Division at 1-800-281-4418.
