The nation’s top JUCO defensive end in the 2020 recruiting cycle has committed to Mississippi State.
After playing one season at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, 4-star DE Jordan Davis will continue his collegiate career with the Bulldogs.

With the departure of Montez Sweat and Jeffery Simmons from 2018’s dominant defensive line, the 6’5 & 250-pound prospect could make an immediate impact on the Bulldog defense in 2019.
Davis is originally from Memphis and was committed to Alabama coming out of high school, but after failing to qualify, he ended up in Wesson. Following his freshman season, Davis recommitted to Alabama in November 2018 but quickly decommited and joined Tennessee’s recruiting class. He had been committed to the Vols ever since, but on Friday he became a Bulldog.
Mississippi State’s 2020 class now consists of 22 recruits and ranks 17th in the nation, according to 24/7Sports.
