CANTON, Miss.- Canton has a history of Hollywood by bringing the big movies to their small town by providing movie sets for filming companies.
A couple movies filmed in Canton you may remember were, “A Time to Kill”, “My Dog Skip”, “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou” and most recently, James Franco’s, “As I Lay Dying”.
Canton is trying to make a real movie industry in its town and set themselves apart from other areas by offering tours of what you may consider, “a piece of Hollywood, left in Canton” by showing the actual sets that were used in these movies.
