RICHLAND, Miss. – Police have confirmed that there is no credible threat of a bomb, after searching a Richland Walmart.
Early afternoon Tuesday, a Walmart in the city of Richland was shutdown, along with nearby businesses, after local police received a call that a man came inside the Walmart, dropped off a package and then left the building.
A bomb technician, robot and bomb sniffing dog were brought in but nothing was found.
Police say they do not know the identity of the person who called in the threat.
