The United States Women’s soccer team beat Thailand 13-0 at the World Cup and have received heavy criticism as a result. That criticism, which included things like “I’m disgusted… there were children watching,” is a prime example of how soft we have become. There is no room for feelings at the highest level of sports. If you don’t like that, choose a different hobby.
