More information is coming to light regarding a Mississippi attorney accused of sneaking contraband into jail.
On Friday, Hinds County Judge Johnnie McDaniel set the bond for attorney Daniel Sidney Dale at $75,000. Dale, 49, was caught Thursday attempting to sneak in cell phones, tobacco, scales, and what appeared to be marijuana among other items to two detainees, according to the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office.
The identities of the detainees allegedly involved in Dale’s conspiracy scheme have also been found via affidavits: William Antonio Harness, Jr., and Marcell Cornelius Martin. Both men are being held on charges of murder in separate cases.

Law enforcement added that Dale used a silver briefcase to transport the items into the detention center and was caught on video giving a cell phone and a brown envelope full of contraband to the men he referred to as clients.
Dale was charged with two counts of conspiracy and three counts of introduction of contraband to a correctional facility. Additional arrests could come in connection to the case, according to officials.
