Dwan Wakefield, one of the suspects accused in the Kingston Frazier murder case, appeared in court yesterday for a bond hearing.
District Attorney Michael Guest said the charges Wakefield has been indicted are accessory after the fact of murder, accessory after the fact of kidnapping, and accessory after the fact of motor vehicle theft.
Guest said the judge set a bond on the amount of $275,000, and a judge put additional restrictions on the bond. Those restrictions are that Wakefield not be allowed to leave the state and he would be electronically monitored while out on bond.
The other two suspects are D’allen Washington and Byron McBride, and Guest believes that the prosecutors have a strong case against the suspects. Washington has previously entered a plea of guilty and has agreed to cooperate in his testimony against Washington and Wakefield.
McBride has been indicted for one count of capital murder and one count of possession of stolen property. His case is currently pending waiting on an upcoming mental evaluation.
