A Canton man accused of shooting and killing his wife will remain behind bars.
Bond has been denied for 52-year-old Myles Johnson who is being held in the Madison County Detention Center for murder, first reported by the Madison County Journal.
According to Canton Police Chief Otha Brown, Johnson notified officers about the shooting on Tuesday, January 30 around 10 a.m. The suspect told police that he and his spouse had been in an altercation one night prior.
Police believe Johnson opened gunfire on his unidentified wife on Monday, January 29.
