Rep. Joel Bomgar was one of the presenters during the big Opioid meeting this week. Bomgar argued that the new rules and regulations put forth by the Medical Licensure Board directing doctors to put additional restrictions on writing opioid prescriptions may have the opposite effect in solving the overdose epidemic in Mississippi.
