MCCOMB, Miss. – A McComb High School freshman was arrested and set to a detention center after calling in a fake bomb threat Wednesday.
McComb School District safety officer Greg Gilmore told local media, that a 14-year-old boy allegedly called in a bomb threat from the high school at around 9 a.m.
Police had the boy arrested by 10:50.
The student is charged with disturbance of a school session and false reporting of a bomb.
A court appearance is set for Monday. The boy is currently being held at the Adams County Juvenile Detention Center in Natchez.
