A body was found by a local fisherman in Biloxi near Deer Island.
The investigation is still ongoing and no cause of death has been determined according to Melissa Scallan with the Department of Marine Resources.
“We don’t know the circumstances. We aren’t sure if he fell off of a boat, once we know more about what happened we can determine if there was any crime committed,” said Scallan.
The body was found Tuesday morning. More details to come.
