VICKSBURG, Miss.–A man’s body was found inside an 18-wheeler cab at a weigh station on I-20 in Warren County Tuesday. MDOT law enforcement went to the truck to investigate when the rig had not been moved all day.
When they got there, they could not get the man to respond, so they broke the window out to check on him. It wasn’t clear how long he had been dead or how he died. His body was in the sleeping compartment.
The driver’s name was not released Tuesday. Law enforcement was working to notify his family.
The body was sent to the State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
