SOUTHAVEN, Miss.–Some really bitter cold air is coming your way, especially if you live in the north part of the state. The National Weather Service Memphis office is predicting it could get down as low as 11 degrees Monday night, with highs both Monday and Tuesday for north Mississippi at only 29.
For central and south Mississippi, that means highs in the low 30s and lows at night in the mid teens.
Before that happens, you’re gonna get a couple of cold days for the rest of the week. This afternoon’s temps are expected to fall into the 30s, with 20s for lows central and south and upper teens possible north.
Then, a warm-up into the 50s for the weekend before Sunday afternoon brings the cold air back, with force. And, there’s a chance of seeing some snow north.
