Mississippi’s now-lone Minor League Baseball team is already gearing up for next season as the Biloxi Shuckers announced its full 2025 schedule on Wednesday.

The Shuckers, who fell in the opening round of the 2024 Southern League Playoffs last month, will play 138 games next year with 69 of those taking place at Keesler Federal Park in Biloxi. When first pitch takes place on Friday, April 4, it will mark the 10th anniversary of the Milwaukee Brewers’ Double-A squad calling the Mississippi Gulf Coast home.

“Not only are we excited for another season of baseball on the Coast, but we’re also excited to celebrate our 10th anniversary season,” Biloxi Shuckers General Manager Hunter Reed said. “We’re looking forward to 69 fun-filled dates at Keesler Federal Park and to see our great fans for another season.”

Biloxi will start the 2025 season on the road against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (Miami Marlins). The Shuckers will then open at home on Tuesday, April 8, against the team that was previously the Mississippi Braves but recently moved to Georgia – now going by the Columbus Clingstones (Atlanta Braves).

As with the 2024 schedule, Biloxi will play every South Division team at Keesler Federal Park, including multiple homestands against Pensacola, Columbus, and the Montgomery Biscuits (Tampa Bay Rays). The Shuckers will also host at least one series against the four North Division teams – the Tennessee Smokies (Chicago Cubs), Birmingham Barons (Chicago White Sox), Chattanooga Lookouts (Cincinnati Reds), and Rocket City Trash Pandas (Los Angeles Angels).

For most games scheduled Tuesday through Friday, first pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. Exceptions include a 6:05 p.m. first pitch for the home opener against Columbus; a 6:05 p.m. first pitch against Pensacola on Tuesday, May 6; and a 6:05 p.m. first pitch against Birmingham on July 8. The Shuckers will also play three morning games with an 11:05 a.m. first pitch against Columbus on Wednesday, April 9; against Pensacola on Wednesday, May 7; and against Birmingham on Wednesday, July 9.

Biloxi will play one Monday home game in 2025, facing off against Pensacola on September 1 for a Labor Day matchup that will begin at 6:35 p.m. All Saturday night games at home will start at 6:05 p.m., while Sunday home games on April 13, April 27, May 11, and July 13 will start at 1:05 p.m.

Marquee matchups at home include Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 11, against Pensacola; Memorial Day Weekend on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, against Tennessee; and the Shuckers Independence Day Extravaganza on Friday, July 4, against Pensacola.

Biloxi will have two homestands of at least nine games in 2025, including between July 4-13 against Pensacola and Birmingham and between August 12-24 against Columbus and Chattanooga. The longest road trip of the year will take place between July 29 and August 10 when the Shuckers visit Pensacola and Tennessee.
