A Biloxi man has been sentenced to just under five years in federal prison for possessing thousands of pills containing fentanyl.
28-year-old Raushaud Ladarius Davis in June 2023 was pulled over for a traffic violation in Harrison County. Officers searched the suspect’s vehicle and found over 4,000 pills that tested positive for fentanyl.
Davis was indicted by a federal grand jury last summer. He pled guilty on October 4 to one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
U.S. Attorney Todd W. Gee and Acting Special Agent in Charge Steve Hofer of the Drug Enforcement Administration made the announcement. The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.
