One Biloxi man claimed a $50,000 prize after matching four out of five white balls and the Powerball during Wednesday night’s drawing.
According to the ticketholder, he enjoys playing Powerball and has played the same numbers since the 1980s. The winning ticket was purchased from Polks Crossgates Discount on Popps Ferry Road, Biloxi.
The grand prize winner did not purchase the Powerplay option of two, which would have increased his win to $100,000 for $1.
As of now, the tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot has increased to an estimated $259 million with an estimated cash value of $131.4 million, while the Mississippi Match 5 jackpot is now worth $474,000. Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is now up to an estimated $30 million with an estimated cash value of $15.3 million.
