JACKSON, Miss.–Big weather changes are happening in Mississippi starting today, with rain to last through Saturday. Temps are then expected to drop and some of the coldest weather so far this season will stick around, at least through Thanksgiving. Grab your coat and keep it handy.
It’s a front moving through today that is expected to bring showers and maybe a thunderstorm. When the rain finally moves out Saturday, you can expect to see temps fall in the afternoon into the low to mid 50s.
Saturday night is gonna test your heater in most of the state, but north the low could get close to 20.
It warms up some after that, with lows generally in the mid 30s through the rest of next week.
