AMORY, Miss.–Selling beer, light wine and even liquor could be approved for the City of Amory today, depending on what voters decide. If you live there, you can make your choice at the Old National Guard Armory.
Several communities have decided to switch from being dry to having some type of beer or liquor sales, so far this year. Residents on the Rankin County side of the Ross Barnett Reservoir made the choice last month, as did Pontotoc residents.
In Amory, there are two choices if you are in favor of alcohol: beer and wine, or all of the above to include liquor.
